Architectural & Historical Stained Glass & Restoration

Architectural & Historical Stained Glass refers to custom or antique glasswork designed as an integral part of a building’s structure.  These windows reflect the culture, spirituality and artistic trends of the era in which they were built.

Restoration is the specialized conservation process of repairing and stabilizing these special windows to preserve their original artistry, historical significance, and structural integrity.  Proper Restoration goes far beyond basic stained glass repair.  It maintains the integrity of the original creator’s vision and extends the lifespan of the artwork for decades, whilst preserving a physical piece of history.

What is important to consider:

What era or architectural style is the window?

What kind of damage has the window sustained?

Is the glass even available today?

Is it possible to remove the window from it’s location for repair?

Is their outside protective Glass or Thermopane in place?
